Turned over 50k

I just turned over 50k miles on my '02. Well, about 1k miles ago.. part of the maintenance schedule I installed a new air filter. and over the last 1k miles I've noticed that my MPG has gone up at least 2-3. I didn't expect that much of a gain. Is that typical? maybe my old one was just really really dirty. anyone else with these kind of results?

IF your old air filter was super clogged, Then it can happen... IT should be changed every 20K miles or so...



Next should be your tranny fluid, diff fluid, Fuel filter and others regular maintains stuff..
