Crime and punishment make for compelling stories. A majority of our news is about crime and punishment. We humans have a fascination with those topics. The reasons we get entertained by those topics vary from person to person. Some want to be the cops or the lawyers, others the criminals, some like to feel for the victims...for others it is just voyeurism, plain and simple.

The Walking Dead on AMC was excellent. Can't wait for season 2.

Awesome show. We need more imaginative shows like that. Let's face it though, the average tv viewer has an IQ of a turnip. That's why there are so many reality shows and the same dramas recycled over and over.

Has anybody been watching "Burn Notice" I like it. Kind of James Bond, Miami Vice and McGyver all rolled into one guy with a very very hot girlfirend.

One of these days you guys will realize that all that Reality Show BS and all the Sitcoms are on so you will shut the Set off and go do something constructive. If you should opt to try this , you will probably live a healthier, happier and somewhat stress free life..

Good Luck

Thats what man made a workshop women and toys for.

Burn Notice has gone downhill as of late, IMO.

After 3 seasons of making Michael Westin into a cuddly, "Don't hurt anyone, let's just scare them", non-violent hero, they all the sudden want us to believe that when he was a spy, he was a murdering, bloodthirsty, warmongering bad@$$ whose name is used to strike fear into anyone in the former Soviet Bloc.

All the characters call him a "boy scout" for years, and now suddenly he was gunning people down left & right just months before the show started? Shoot, in season 1, right after he got burned, he refused to kill those who were trying to kill him!

I can't believe he was a hardened killer, and Matt Nix shouldn't expect me to.

Even in the season finale he refused to kill even the people who ruined his life.

Larry needs to become the main character in Burn Notice. Seriously.

:soap:

(BTW, yes, I watch burn notice. There have been several eps with Gen 1 STs in them)

One of those things is stressful, but rewarding. One of those things will cause you endless amounts of stress, and the other will stress your wallet.

Yes there was. I saw a black one and a gold one in episodes.

In Canada (I don't know if you get it there) we have a show called Corner Gas. It really is quite good. It is now done production. It has had several ST's in it. We went to the production site in Roleau SK and our '05 Adrenalin can be seen on the street across from the Foo M art (not a typo)

Foo M art?

I guess Western Canada has a sense of humor....wait, SK? I guess that's still technically west Canada, since Saskatchewan is above what is considered the American West.

I'm not a TV expert, but I've never heard of Corner Gas. I suspect it is for those in the Great White North only; the only show from there to ever make it past the border has been Red/Green, which was infinitely better than what we brought up from Mexico (Ugly Betty).

"Moby Richard, don't you mean Moby Dick?" "Nah, I didn't know him that well."

BTW, has anyone tried the American remake of Top Gear? I've been afraid to.
