My FIRST broplem is the brakes. I had the front rotors replaced a month or so ago and now it pulls a little to the right when the brakes are applied. Also the steering wheel shakes a little. Cant be a bad rotor could it?

My SECOND problem is when the Air Conditioning is on and I do small parking lot turning manuevers it shakes and the engine almost dies. What could be causing this and is it a common problem?

Thanks,

Devin

bad rotor, caliper, or front end part.

the p/s pump is dragging the engine rpm down, there is a p/s sensor that tells the computer to up the idle in this situation, it may be bad, or the IAC motor needs a cleaning..

The engine stall can be a couple of issues. First, clean the IAC. The IAC is what increases the RPM's under low speed loads, such as turning the wheel, A/C on, driving slow....

Also, there id a TSB on the Steering Shudder. The steering shudder is when the steering wheel shakes a bit when driving slow and maneuvering around in a parking lot environment for example. The Power Steering pump on our Tracs is a bit weak. The TSB replaces the pump with a pump from a 4-Explorer. The replacement pump puts out more volume and pressure.

Ford did replace mine under coverage with the TSB Pump. No more steering shudder for me, it is gone.

Is you shudder when applying the brakes or driving slow or what?
