Ever since i put on my body lift, you can really see how bad the headers look.

I was thinking of painting them, but have heard they are a pain to take off/put on.

Any suggestions on making them look good or just less ugly.

Do you have Headers or the OEM stock exhaust manifolds ???

The OEM ones come off and on in about 1 hour or so..... BUT you have to let the paint dry a good 24 hours before heating them...

I found a great site for high temp paint...

http://www.hightempenginepaint.com/

But the manifolds need to be cleaned and wire brushed for a great finish..

I thought all that crap was covered with rubber matting held in place with plastic Christmas tree fasteners. It is on my truck.

OR install these !! LOL

The only way I can see a possible gain with headers on the 4.0L. Would be with long tube steped headers. There is no clearance room for them though.

Yeah, Talk about a Waste of money !!! $500.00 for NOTHING......

Gotta Love marketing.....

I even emailed them pics and the Dyno sheets..... Funny I never received a call or email back... LOL

I went to a junk yard and pulled to factory slash guards from an explorer to cover mine. I think they charged me 2 dollars for them.
