It made me giggle.. I think I might be the target audience for this one.

It's a necessary evil.. thats why I have one. I haven't totally accepted it, but when you have 2 kids family comes to visit you want something that can haul the whole crew.

Thats funny! Were actually talking about getting a minivan...they are just so perfect for a family. As long as I get my truck, I can live with it. Great video!

That series of commercials is hilarious. The family is so modest in the other commercials that are linked to that vid! (sarcasm)

I still like the "Respect the Van" series more, but this is pretty funny. Mr T's van is hard to top

Though I'm voting the Odyssey over the toyotas from experience...sorry Freestar/Caravan, but you failed epically.

Minivans aren't so bad...

From experience, you can "urban offroad" in them (Toronto), and you can initiate a foot-brake turn, all while your "crew" rides in comfort. What more could you ask for?

(Besides RWD)

Before I had my Trac I had a Villager, heh!

It was great for when the kids were very little. I liked it, and it was heavy enough also, I once performed a pit maneuver on an ahole in a Focus without any damage to the van at all. Didn't even wake up my sleeping son. ;-)

"Nothing says pimpin' like a mini van..."

or a convertABLE :bwahaha:

BTW, the swagger wagon looks good

I always wanted to see someone with a Mercury Villager take a "P" from another ride and replace the "V" on the minivan with it.

Just to make it a bit cooler...it'd be like ricers putting the stupid mufflers on their rides, but more subtle and "intellectual", and thus cool imo

Shaun, I wasn't thinking about that...I guess potholes do count as "urban offroading" lol. By that, driving anywhere in Pennsylvania is off-road. Though my moment of minivan glory was driving over a curb and a grass median when I found that I was right across the street from the #%%#ing hotel, but there was no way to get there, and it'd been 14 hours of driving.

Shoot, every model year the minivan comes out with new, innovative features. Other vehicles don't seem to pump out as many "cool" innovations.

Gary S, are you hatin' on the minivan? They have a bad rep, sure, but they're so useful. And the 3.5 L Honda 6-cylinder in the 02 odyssey we have kicking around can still a lot of the local rice :driving:
