I was given a nice condition Ford factory (2L1F-18808-DB) pair of speakers and thought i would try to make my 2003 Trac a little better with a 6 way system. But after a couple of cool board members pointed out, I would need some additional amps to do so, as not to drain the rear speakers.
So I went to plan B, which was to swap out the front speakers with the "new" ones I got. Apparently these are off a 04 Navagator. Not as much bass as the stock Trac speakers, but did add some new highs to the mix. I will leave them in for now to see how I like the sound. By the way , all 4 speakers in my Trac are the same, and the new ones I put in was just "plug and play", with a dirrect fit.
