UPS Claims

Has anyone here had to file a claim for a lost package with UPS? How long does it take them to pay??? Can't get a straight answer from the ...pardon the expression..."customer service" agents...on the phone. (At least I didn't get Mujibar or Rajnahabdashah this time...

Depends; did they admit losing it or still searching for it ?

They will NOT admit to actually losing it, but they have "suspended their search and are processing the claim [RAWK!! Polly wanna cracker! RAWK!!]..."

I got a claim from them a few years ago. I didn't have any problems but it did take a long time.

We filed one here two weeks ago for a taxidermied Moose head. UPS had crushed it with a fork lift. Got the check yesterday. We are authorized shippers for all 3 carriers, so I'm sure if it was an individual filing a claim they would have gotten put off and UPS would of tried every excuse they could come up with to get out of paying a claim. -Heather

takes 1 to 2 months. It better have been insured or you get shipping and $100 back. That's not too bad providing they didn't lose a plasma cutter that I sold for $1000. Cost me $1400, UPS refunded $14 for the shipping and $100... not happy with them at all. Somewhere some UPS guy is having a field day cutting crap up in his back yard.:angry:
