I recently replaced the 55K shocks on my wifes sporttrac with a set of Tokico's. I video'd myself compressing the new shocks and then the old shocks. It might provide someone some insight on the status of shocks of this vintage.

John, thnx for sharing the videos, but how do I know you weren't fakin the resistance of the Tokicos? Just kiddin. I experienced the same thing when I switched to Monroe Reflexes.

My kinda garage. Sport Tracs and Fuel playing in the background. I need to get around to doing my shocks...
 
I've been a lurker for a while, no I don't drive a civic any more, sold that bought a real car (mr2), sold that and bought a girls car (miata). My wife drives the truck.



As with fakin' the resistance, I don't think I can turn my lips inside out that like even if I tried. : )
