This is a long shot, as to whether anyone will be able to answer this question.

As I posted before, I bought a brand-new 2006 Mazda 3 hatchback on 25 Aug. On 31 Aug, I was notified of a new military assignment to Poland for a duration of three years. I did some research and found a dealership in Gdansk, Poland which sells the Mazda 3 hatchback. This dealership is about 30 - 45 minutes from where I will be living in Kamien Pomorski. There is also a dealership in Berlin, Germany two hours away.

Does anyone know whether I can transfer my US 48 month/50,000 mile warranty to Poland or any EU country? This situation could be pretty ugly for me if any major defects are found after I ship the car from the US. I'm also assuming the state lemon law would not apply either.

I tried to look around for some info, Nelson. But couldn't find any I would suggest calloing the number or logging into Mazda.com _ Ron

Nelson, I spent most of my career in Europe. T he warranty program is a bit different there but the German dlr (if he has worked with Americans) should givve you good support and try to honor your warranty as well as possible. Sometimes there is a small expense involved but they ae pretty reasonable and try very hard to work with you. I have no experience with the Poles and how they conduct business. Good Luck and I am envious. Don
