Water in the Third Brake Light

After the last couple of hard rains, I've noticed my high-mount third brake light has water inside of it.



Suggestions on repairing it? I'm thinking of caulking inside it with silicon.

Perhaps the screws are not tight, otherwise silicone should work well. Probably better than silicon.

there should be no reason why that wouldnt work. If you like you could even make a gasket out of weatherstripping foam or something

I would beef up the gasket, perhaps with some of that stick on door weather stripping.



Silly cone will stain the paint over time and could be a pain in the but to remove if a bulb fails..

hell just put some duck tape on it

Replace it with a new LED version.
