Just haven't checked the obvious yet But was wondering if any one had the same issue.

2010 Adrenalin, after a heavy rain we get water drips out of the front dome/curtsey light switches.

sometimes its a lot and others its not.

Windshield has not ever been replaced.

I have not checked the drains on the sunroof, or the seal yet. But if any one had the exact same problem?

Thanks !

Todd,

It could be the drains, but there is also a metal gutter system around the sunroof and that may have rusted through and is causing the leak.

That happened on my wife's 2003 Saturn in just a few years, while it was still under warranty. I thought it was clogged drain tubes too, but the dealer said that the gutter pan had rusted through !! Wow, talk about cheap junk cars...

The replaced the gutter pan and that fixed the problem. It did leave a very small rust stain on the headliner but they said they would not fix that under warranty???:angry:

I was able to clean most of the rust stain off to where it was not noticable unless you were looking for it. I traded the Saturn and my 2003 Sport Trac in when I bought my 2008 Mercedes.

I've had it do that a few times since I bought my '01 Trac in 2003. But it was definitely after my warranty was over.

I had figured out that it only happens when parked on angle, meaning front end is just slightly lower than the rear end. Never looked into why - I just make sure anywhere I park is sloped so it favors the front to be slightly higher. That's the easier fix for me.

My driveway is a 1-2% slope and I always back in as it had done it once or twice there after sitting in pouring rain. I've never seen it leak in a downpour while driving down a steep road.
