So I finally heard from Wayne Foy today. Sent me an e-mail (to 5 different addresses). It was short and sweet:



I have an Xcal2 for you. Please send me your addy and it will go out asap.

I'm not holding my breath on it yet. When I have it I will believe it. I don't know what happened, but maybe the Investigator down there I had looking into it for me talked to him. I got a PM from someone on another forum today talking about some wheels the are in Wayne's garage and Wayne claiming that they were given to him. All of this today, so I bet someone talked to him finally....
 
Hopefully this can be set to rest.....

I hope so too. I know my wife is tired of hearing me talk about it all the time, so I know you all are too..lol :D

figured as much...if you manage to get the xcal, let us know what all you had to go through to get the situation rectified :)
 
If Wayne Foy has disappeared and folks have not gotten there XCAL for several weeks, why is he still listed as a site sponsor with a four star rating. I wasn't aware of this ordeal and just went to the sponsor link last week and ordered my XCAL. I never thought to search the boards for a renegade tuner gone bad. I'd recommend we delete his sponsor link and listing in the Aftermarket Parts section until all these issues are resolved. One of the points of this site is to help each other out, so we can benefit from good lessons learned and not suffer from bad ones. Thanks!

Steve did you order from his sight? If you did you should contact your credit card company and cancel the order. His sight is now offline._Ron
 
Rich has removed him from our Resources section.



I did order it straight from the HIA site, but after checking last night, the charge never showed up on my card. I got the auto response email confirming the order, but looks like it never processed.



Now with Wayne out of the picture, what the best substitute for the XCAL?
