We got 24" of snow here in the Twin Cities in the last 36 hours, the vast majority of it falling yesterday evening--and that's on top of about 15" last weekend. After having what was heading toward one of the most snow-free winters we've ever had, suddenly we get one of the snowiest weeks we've ever had. But no tornadoes, and so far no traffic deaths or other weather-related deaths, so yes, we're considering ourselves to be quite lucky.
