What have I bought?

Having just got a Sport Trac a few weeks ago I have found myself washing it every other day and constantly looking out in the drive just to look at it.....is this normal?......will I get over this?......is professional help needed?

Anyway my question is....what model/package have I got? the dealer never told me, its not on the title, even a VIN search didn`t help. Can I tell from the electric goodies?

2002 Black 4X4... not leather int, 6 CD stacker, elec sunroof if that helps any.

Sounds like a 2002 Premium package without leather comfort group. Does it have stepbars, and foglights? Does it have adjustable head restraints, a center console that goes all the way to the dash, and an overhead console?

First of all welcome! Secondly, no, you will probably not get over washing it and staring at it. May will be 2 years that I've had mine and I can't stop looking at it either. To some it is ugly, but to us it is a beauty!



As far as what you have exactly, I'm not sure what packages where offered in 02 (since I have an 04) so someone else will chime in I'm sure. Maybe an XLT Premium, without leather?? I have an XLT, no sunroof, single disk cd receiver, and no leather... the premiums I looked at had leather, sunroof, and beefed up sound....

As you can see from the brochure that George posted, they did not offer the 'XLT' in '02. The choices were 'Value', 'Choice' and 'Premium'.

hi englander.. dont feel bad, i but my first st back in april of 05 and that the same thing.. and just a few weeks ago i trade in for a 05 and im more in love with this one than the other one... its a bitchen truck.. they have that effect on us tracer..... i go out in the drive way and walk around it a few time.... making sure its not a dream.... and i wash mine at least once a week. and i have that car duster and i wipe it down every chance it get. so your not a sick person your just excided about.. im excided cause i finely got the vehicle that i picked out. and not my husband. he always got to choose the car for me.. so enjoy your new trac......
