I'm looking at Pro Comp Rock Crawler wheels for my trac and they mention that they have 4.23" back space. What does this mean? I understand what offset means but not sure on the back space term. I'm trying to get wheels that will move my tires a little further out so they dont rub at full steering lock. Can anyone help me out?

I had similiar wheels on my 05. I used a 4" back-space but they did rub at "full steering wheel lock". They were 15" by 8" wheels.

Cool, so it sounds like if an 8" wheel has 4" backspace then it is a zero offset wheel. Or at least something close to that anyway.
