What is the record for most replies to a post?

The 'Chaney shot someone' has some legs on it.....although it has diverted a bit since the opening topic.

So - from some of the veteran posters on the site - as far as the record - how many and what was the topic?

I dunno about the record, but the Honda Ridgeline thread trolled by RLOwner has to be close (279 posts).

I think there was a 300 post thread. I think it was those age threads.

Yeah, I know Rich has had to close em down before cause they were too much for the server to handle, and when people try and continue it with a new thread, it never gets many replies after that.

There was a word association thread that was closed at over 300, and a second continuation followed which had about 200. I could find it and restart it if you'd like.

I started <a href="http://www.mysporttrac.com/shared/msgboard9e.asp?BOARDNAME=MSG&VIEW=667569&sitename=mysporttrac&LAST=6/2/2005_7:21:13_PM">one</a> last year about the dude (his name escapes me) who always chimed in on off-topic threads with venomous retorts. It went over 300 until Rich locked it.
