What Power Steering Pump?

I know there was a TSB for the Power Steering pumps on the 2001 ST's, but Im interested to know which pump I should replace my original 01' with? Is the pump from an 02-03 Explorer the match that I need?

The updated ps pump is the same for a late 2001 as a 2002 or 2003.



Keep in mind that if you are purchasing a aftermarket pump, there is no guarantee that it is the increased flow pump. It may just be a resealed original release pump.

In my 03 Trac Ford replaced it with an 03 Explorer (4 door) pump...

Solved my issues.

Exactly as Coastiejoe said. Same for me. This was my second replacement. I had the first replacement in 2004. Dealer finally got it right about a month ago (June, 06).



I waited for the second replacement just before the warranty was about to run out (35,600).
