What rearend is a direct replacement for the Trac?

I would like to know what complete rearend is a direct replacement for our Tracs. Mine is a 2wd. I know it's the ford 8.8 but I'm looking for the exact replacement (hopefully with at least 4.10 LS) what models/years etc. that use the same one. I'm worried that mine might be on its way out so I'd like to price one from a salvage. If it's the complete unit I can could change it out myself.

I'm pretty sure any Explorer or Sport Trac 8.8" will bolt right in. A Ranger 8.8" is a little narrower, the springs mount on top, and it's a 28 spline whereas the Exploder rear is a 31 spline. Just a matter of whether you have discs or drums.
