I either one to get a billet grille, or i want to get my windows tinted to match the back. What do you think i should get first?

Well my last tint ticket cost me close to 500 bux, that includes the tint pro applied, felt liners for the side windows (on the stang), 250 bux for the ticket, and 3 hrs to remove the tint which is a PITA.get the grill

In GA, for trucks and SUVs, front windows can be tinted to 32% and all other windows (excluding the windshield) have no limit.

As long as it's not completely black, none of the cops will really care. Glad I'm not in CA, it's much less controlling.

If you get the fronts at 20%, they should match the rears.

I say do the windows. :smile0006:

I live in GA, and I have my fronts at 18%, and my windshield at 45%. Both are illegal, but I've done it that way for 13 years and never had an issue. When you get pulled over, roll down all of your windows before the cop gets to you, and they won't care.

It doesn't matter if tint is legal or not in your own state if you cross state lines. Many a Wisconsin cop has nailed an out-of-state vehicle for having tint that's illegal in Wisconsin even if it's legal in their home state.

If you are still thinking between grill and tint, definetly go with the tint. I think it will make your ST look so much better, not that it looks bad now...I just think between the two, tint will be a better mod right now. JMO:smile0006:

Hey Ryan,

I got the head lights on eBay couple years ago. I have not been able to find any smoked ones with the clear reflector. I just saw some on eBay, but they have the amber reflectors on the corner lights. They have been really hard to find, they sometimes pop up on eBay, but not very often. Good luck man, and your truck looks very sweet

Being an old Wisconsin medic, I found the only good thing aftermarket tint did was to keep the pieces of safety glass from spraying everywhere when I had to punch out a window.

Ryan, do the grille first. Just make sure any parts of the old grille that will be behind the new grille are painted black so they don't show through the billet. BC
