What should I use to clean my shiny stuff..

Do you guys recommend anything for cleaning the Intake tube, exhaust tips, and other chrome things on the Trac?

I use Meguiars NXT car polish on my chrome exhaust tip, just wipe off the intake tubes... don't think you can apply anything to them.

Meguiars NXT all metal polysh is good, as well as Mothers metal polish.

I second the Mother's Metal Polish and I use Meguiars Gold wax after the polish.

My intake tube just barely rubs the hood felt on the inside. It rubs black onto it. ( If I must explain....j/k ) Thats why I need to polish it up.

I use a product called Brasso on the tailpipe and anything metal which needs shining.



You military types should be familiar with it.

if its scuffing / anything worse than dust/hazing go for the eagle one nevr-dull i'm all over the mothers for easy stuff but if its rough nevr-dull is where its at [Broken External Image]:

I remember Brasso. I used to use it on a weekly basis polishing brass in the building I worked in (back when I first started the military). The Cold war was still going on and Reagan was CINC. There are no more brass knobs and the floors are carpeted now. We pay janitors to take out the trash. The young pups are so spoiled now.
