Not only that but 5W20 in the winter is not helping a thing.
5W30. When cold, it is a 5 weight oil. When hot, it becomes a 30 weight.
So, with 5W20 oil, when cold it is still a 5 weight oil, but when hot, it is a 20 weight.
No advantage during start up when it is cold. If yu were going from a 10W30 summer to 5W30 in the winter, that is different.
