I've only had my 2010 ST Limited for a few weeks. I'm beginning to see the differences between my 2001 Gen1 Job 1 and the 2010 Limited. I've noticed that there is a gap between the top of the running board and the door. There appears to be a flexible tube running horizontally in there as well as other "unsightly" things. What's up with that. My 2001 presented a much better appearance. Also, why would they have changed the gas tank fill spout from the drivers side to the passanger's side. Are they telling me that my wife is now closer to the pump and therefore she should handle the refills? JimG

Can't see that "tubing" unless I get down a look for it. So, its there, doesn't affect the way I feel about the truck or how it performs. As far as the fuel filler, I've only got one leg and I have no problem getting out of the truck and pumping my own gas. Even here In Jersey the little court jester comes bounding out to pump my gas, I just shoo him away. Especially since he filled the truck with 87 octane last week(not a pretty sight on my part) Had to go back and make an amends for my "behavior" So, NO ONE is allowed to touch my vehicles any more. I never understood passenger side fill spouts.

When building a vehicle, there is only so much room under the vehicle. By the time you place exhaust, suspension, engine, tranny, drivetrain, frame, fuel tank, etc. under a vehicle, you get less and less space. It actually makes more sense to have a fuel tank on the passenger side. Simply because of balance issues.

Passenger side fuel tank=passenger side fill spout.

Ok, in an engineering sense, yes. But for owner practicality, I don't like it. Am I going to be called lazy now?
