I want to get a Air Intake Kit. Ifound one on ebay for $39.99. I was wondering if anybody every bought one of these and would it fit a job1 01?

Help!!

That will not work. That intake has only 1 small breather connection, you need 2...

i had it what a piece of crap. i just installed the tru rev induction kit and ive had it now for 2 days and i love it. the tru rev costs 100 bucks shipped and uses your stock intake tube but took me only 15 minutes to install. 8 bolts 4 to take off and 4 new ones to install.

Following up on what Todd said - check your stock intake tube and see how many small breather connections you have. Some Tracs have one, some have two. Mine has one, so yours may too. Mine is a Job 2 though, so he's probably right about the Job 1's having two.

I bought one these ebay intakes a couple of years ago. I already had the KKM True-Rev Induction kit installed, so I just used the tube and filter from the ebay intake. The MAF adapter plates, and other hardware included in the ebay kit are poor quality. The chrome plating was poorly done on mine so I had it triple plated for a deeper, show-quality look. I'm happy with mine, considering the changes I made to it. I think it looks better than stock, or even the MAC intake, IMO. I also have the chrome Pro-M 75mm MAF (as seen here).

If you get one of these intakes you'll need to protect it from rubbing against the alternator. I stuck a small piece of self-adhesive weather stripping between the tube and the alternator. It's still there after all this time.

On his auctions, he list if it's pre or after 7/24/00 for the ST. About 200$.

The alternator bracket for mine was twisting on the wrong side. Nothing that I couldn't fix.
