Has anyone experienced this problem. The whistling starts around 20 mph and trails off around 55 mph. It is not the intake or wheels or anything else. It is definitely the side mirrors. I have an '05 XLT premium.

did you fold the mirrors in and see if it goes away ???
Check the trim around them, the FL sun may have peeled or curled it and making it whistle..

Lots of tips and advice to be had here.
As Todd said, fold the mirrors in and see if it changes. Make sure you havent changes anything lately like adding or changing window vent visors, etc.. Report back what you find and others will chime in with more ideas.

I've never heard of that problem, but there is a first time for everything. I do agree with Todd & Dave about folding the side mirrors in to either confirm or eliminate them. Let us know what you find out.
