looking for a 04 workshop manual on ebay and there so expensive compared to the 05. mine is a 04 and would much rather have the correct year.

Your call. IIRC, the 2004-05 are IDENTICAL in every way, no change. Have you seen the crazy expensive 2001 ST Ford paper manual prices? aka- supply and demand.

Just saw the 01 prices. Yikes. Cheapest I found for a 04 is 80 shipped for the 2 manuals

The '06 manuals are even worse. If you can even find one, the price is outrageous.
