I have a 200 2 Sporttrac what size wiper blades do I need? The book at Wal-Mart says I need 22" would that be correct?

No, I'm pretty sure they are 18" on both sides. After getting some rain tonight I'm getting new ones tomorrow. Make sure you are looking at the right Year and Model when looking in those books.

The correct size is 18". I staggered mine with 21" and 19" Bosch Icons. My current set are coming up on 2 years (I got them just after the last Louisville meet after seeing them on another member's ST). The Icons are shaped to hug the windhshield and the spring is internal. Yeah, they'll cost you $20 each, but after you use them, you'll never use anything else, and like I said, I haven't changed mine in almost 2 years, just wipe the edge with a paper towel when I wash the ST.

22" blades might work. I have an '01 that (if I recall correctly) call for 18" blades, OEM. I put on 20"-21" blades. I took a tape measure out to see what would fit the best. I put on PIAA Silicone blades and after 2-1/2 yrs. they are still going strong. The PIAA blades are more pricey, but worth it in the long term.

22" fit best for maximum visibility. I second Bosch wipers, but I haven't tried the icons.

I havent been able to determine what type of wipers are on our '08 escape. They have a pinch to release that I have never seen. Also no metal, rubber and plastic. I have looked for them at several parts stores, no have. I like to keep spares.:unsure:
