Does any one have a link to the radio frequencies we would use in WI in case of an emergency ? I'm looking to buy a new scanner and want these incorporated in it.

umm Be advised the Nationl Guard does not use freqiencies you can pick up on any kind of radio, even emergency. They use military radios that are encrypted and thats all I can say.

Research your scanning area since most area's are switching to digital (Apco25 or Open Sky). A good quality scanner will cost 400 easily. Open Sky is out of the question if you want to listen in. Radio Shack, Uniden, and GRE make excellent scanners.

www.scannermaster.com to research before you buy.

And during emergencies the HAM, (Amateur radio) are used alot.

might want to check with the local chapter if you have one in your area
