Ruidoso is cool. What is wrong with that? I think it is better than one of those saw-cut bears they are always hawking there. My brother and I always visit that area when I am in town. He lives in Roswell.

I like Ruidoso..actually considering buying a retirement home there if I can find one without said bear in the front yard

My wife is from Roswell but thankfully she moved from there and never looked back...she thought I was the biggest nerd when I forced her to take me to the crash site..wasn't anything to look at it but at least I can say I was there.

My brother owns the KFCs there, and in a few other towns, including Las Cruces. He likes being a big fish in a little fishbowl. If I were him, I would move to Las Cruces. There really is nothing in Roswell that I find interesting, except for the Latinas.

A local ice cream shop near me has Maple-Bacon flavored ice cream. It's like Maple-Walnut, just exchange the wanuts for nice hunks of bacon bits.

They also have "Tabasco" flavored ice cream.

I get a new overhead garage door (double) as we had high winds here on Christmas eve, and it buckled the door inwards about 6-8", :smile0003: oh well, but overall I had a good one, got new batteies for my cordless tools, woot!!!!!! :smile0006:

It's not really a present but a bunch of us in the family either got food poisoning or we all got the Pig Aids ( H1N1) swine flu. Spent all last night playing "Mister Bus Driver" and then it turned into a Full Body Enima. :smile0003::smile0010::smile0010::smile0001:
