Wow/PML

I just ordered my PML transmission pan. Got an email saying that they didnt think it would work for my 05 Sport trac. So I called David at PML and talked to him.



I must say great customer service!!!! From everything I have seen about these pans I am sold and this guys CS is outstanding!!!



Issue at hand is the transmission change that occured with the newer tracs not having a dipstick and using 6mm versus 8mm bolts. In talking to him, I have the dipstick and use a quantity of 18 bolts versus the 16 used on the newer pan, so believe I will be fine.



If anyone can confirm I would be greatful.

18 on mine, drill and tap the temp sender boss before the install, you can always put a plug in it for later use.

Yes it fits the GEN 1 st only fine !!



IF you have a 2wd you MUST use a 4wd filter !!!
