New plugs and new shocks (Gabriel Pro Guards) installed today, what a difference in the ride. I ended up doing all the plugs through the wheel wells while doing the front shocks, my gorilla arms wouldn't fit through from the top. The middle plug on the passenger side gave me a fit to get the new one in... had to get the daughter (16) to help. Sure was nice having a frame lift available to get the truck up in the air.

Plugs were worn so bad the gap was .070 and bigger..... shocks could be compressed with no effort at all.

Just so you know, the brand new, stock shocks can be compressed with no effort at all. That's why so many here have replaced them as soon as possible. Just think, you could have done that when it was new and enjoyed the better handling all this time. For you new owners, GET NEW SHOCKS.

It is amazing what general maintainance will do. It happens so slowly you don't realize what your missing until you replace it, (shocks, plugs, wires, whatever...)
