XCAL 3 Question

Question: I got my xcal3 today from Torrie, and uploaded the 87 economy tune. If I go to upload the performance tune, do I have to go back to stock first or just upload the new tune?



Economy tune seems to make tight shifts, and they seem to be much sooner than stock. Can't see much else from it at the moment, it is wet and rainy and I don't want to be horsing around in the weather.

yeah i normlly do the return to stock, then right away load the next tune I want.

I never go back to stock, there is no need to do the extra step...

thanks guys, I just wanted to be sure it would not overwrite the stock program that was saved just in case I need to go to the dealer for some off the wall reason and need the original program.



I love this thing.... just did the 87 performance tune and I love the way it shifts, i am also certain the neighbors do not like the fact that the rev limiter is gone.

I didn't take off my rev limiter yet. Not sure I will.
