I was curious to know what the "Optional Parameters" can do.. this pops up when I am about to reprogram my trac with my xcal2...

I know there are things you can select and change, but has anyone tried to? if so, what did you do and did it help?

Adam,

You will have the following adjustments on your tuner:

Depends on the vehicle. The options available on the Xcal2 are as follows:

The ones with the stars are the ones I typically allow for most customers, and I also set the range of adjustments so they are safe for end user flexibility to not cause damage

(All Vehicles)

Idle Neutral*

Idle Drive*

Rev Limit Neutral*

Rev Limit Drive*

Speed Limiter

Spark(Timing) 0-2000 rpm*

Spark(Timing) 2000-4000 rpm*

Spark(Timing) 4000-6000 prm*

Tire Size (Revs per mile)*

WOT (Wide Open Throttle) Fuel enrichment*

Axle Ratio*

(Automatics have these features as well as the above)

Shift mph 1-2*

Shift mph 2-3*

Shift mph 3-4*

Shift pressure 1-2*

Shift pressure 2-3*

Shift pressure 3-4 *

Hey WFoy,

Thanks for the info.. so if I were to fiddle with some of those parameters I shouldn't damage anything?

Are there any recommendations to what I should try? ie. Shift Pressure, Shift MPH, and Spark? Or is the tunes that you sent already optimized for my trac?

oh and btw... I LOVE MY XCAL2! RACED MY FRIENDS JEEP LIBERTY BEFORE AND WE WERE DEAD EVEN.. NOW I'VE GOT HIM BY ATLEAST 3 CAR LENGTHS! I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THIS MOD :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
