Say I were to get an XCal2 and it had not been programmed at all--how would I go about getting that done? Would I need to ship it to a dealer (sponsor) to have it set up for my computer code, or can I buy a subscription from them and just download all the stuff it would need directly to it via the internet??

You can contact our new sponsor and he can help you. You can also go to sct forum to ask any questions. If it is not programmed then you can download the programs to your computer to check to see if it is locked or unlocked. Doug at Bama can send you files to add if it is unprogrammed. Others can jump in here if I am wrong._Ron

I believe since it is fresh, you should be able to just get the files on line from a tuner and download them into the XCal your self and your good to go...

Leisha, we currently have two sight sponsors that will be offering tunes for the ST.

The best thing you can do is research and talk to people who build files for a living. There are a lot of dealers who do this just to make money and don't know how to properly build calibrations. Customer service and raw knowledge is key. Everyone has specific tastes in regards to how they want their vehicle to perform and sometimes it can take time post sale to perfect what you want. I have customers that have I have emailed 50 files to. All free to make them happy.

We all get the 9400 Xcal 2 flashers blank and we as dealers build the files based on the application / customers desires.

Take care,
