Hey guys i was wondering exactly what i have to do when i want to take the xcal out of the truck, i just sold my truck and i still wanted to be able to use the xcal tuner

Just reload the stock tune is all. That will leave the xcal3 unlocked and available for new tunes for a different vehicle.

Contact our sponsor Torrie @ fast parts. You will have to tell him what you want. Also the vehicle and the code on the PCM. He can write 3 new specific tune. He charged me $150, for 3 tunes.



You also will need to download the updater program from SCT. It is free. Torrie can email the tunes. Then you use the updater program with a USB cable. It will install and overwrite the tunes that were for the Trac.
