Hey all,

Is there any way to change the tire size in the XCalibrator 2 myself without getting someone who tuned it to do it? Just curious so that when I do my lift, I will know what action to take. Thanks, G.S.

Yes; I did it last May when I went from 235's to 245's. You have to first find out the revs per mile of the tire, then go in and change perameters for the tune, scroll to the tire size setting (I don't recall specifically what it says), then you scroll up or down to pick the correct revs per mile. Now just go back out saving the setting. :D

IF you pick the wrong revs per mile you will be adding more millage on your odometer. And if you go back the other way you will be driving more than it is showing. Same goes for the speedometer.

I guess I didn't explain myself clearly enough.

1. Find out the revs per mile from the tire manufacturer / dealer to be exact.

2. Hook up the XCal2 to the OBDII port.

3. Change perameters for the tune.

4. Scroll to the tire size setting (I don't recall specifically what it says).

5. Once you've found the tire size setting click on it; scroll up or down to pick the correct revs per mile, and click on it.

6. Now just go back out saving the setting as you go back out.

I hope that helps. Just plug it in and follow the prompts, that's all I did.
