Z-Max Micro Lube?

Hi fellow tracs,

I just bought the $40.00 Z-Max kit , contains; Oil additive, transmission additive and fuel injector cleaner. Only paid $7.50 for it. Was on clearance for 10 and my wife found another 25% savings coupon.

Wondering if anyone has tried it. And if the transmission additive will help. Nothing wrong with trans now, but I do tow my 18 ft. fiberglass bass boat quite a bit.

yes . but I am not sure if the tranny additive from ford had been installed. How can I find out?

Erv, took a tip from Regal1 and drove down to a dealership. Told em I knew about the TSB but wasnt sure if mine needed it. She wrote down my vin, popped into the computer and I was good to go. my 05 was man. in Oct 04 which is right around the cutoff date. they can help ya
