    Dashhugger for '01 -'05 ST

Pictures of my dashhugger is under my pics, I only had the pic of the font over the passenger side, however if you go under After Market Parts, there is a picture of a full dashhugger, in tan. Mine is gray with teal font. Email [email protected] Laura

Need help replacing front bumper cover

Well, we need to replaced the front bumper cover since the Trac was hit in the right front. The headlight and turn signal assemblies were broken. We have those on order. But the bumper cover is split pretty good and we'll have to replace that. Ed found them on the web, primed for paint and...

    Switching driver and passenger seats

I did a search and did not find my answer (maybe I am not using the search engine correctly). 2001 IB ST built Nov. 2000, over 79Kmiles The foam in my drivers seat left side (next to the door) seems to be crushed, so it feels like I am sitting and leaning towards the window. My...

    SportTrac Owners upgrade to F-150?

"Wonder what F-150 owners trade for?" lol. I traded my 2003 F150 Supercrew with a 5.4L for a Toyota Corolla. I am saving a fortune. Wife still has the ST for hauling trash, the camper, etc. Doesn't do as well as the F150, but we get by.

    Hot engine...Part two

My mechanic does not have one of these tachs. And, probably will not buy one either. He can change out the fan clutch for about $140, parts and labor. I'm wondering about just having that done vs. taking it to a dealer, and hoping they actaully do the test (it's a mutistep process from what I...

    Hot engine...Part two

I have had a problem where when the truck sits at idle for 5 minutes or more (stop and go traffic for instance), the AC shuts off and the temp gauge starts climbing (but never goes into the red zone). After that, the transmission acts up until cool again. The truck cools off pretty quick after...

    Water stains

We have almost etched in water spots. I tried almost every trick in the book, using a porter Cable buffer too. Nothing but clean waterspots. I bought a jar of A-maz glass cleaning paste. Finally cleaned those spots off. It's no picnic still. Got to scrub hard and the paste dries kind of fast...

    Lower Price, Pricey Stuff

I was kept myself from this board for about a year now (maybe more!) because of the way so many threads ended up going. I came back today to post a question. This was the first thread I read after posting. Nice to know some things never change. Ed

    Hot engine/ Trans problem...related?

It's the original thermostat. Popular vote is for that. I'll have that replaced Friday and see how it goes. I can only hope it cures the trans buck. Thanks for the input everyone. Time to head back to my cave. Ed

    Hot engine/ Trans problem...related?

Original thermostat is in. Any idea of the relation to the transmission? It's getting hot under the hood no doubt, but it never heads into the "uh oh" zone, so that was the least of my two worries. The trans has me worried. Thanks. Ed
