Tie rod or ball (photo attached)

I plan on doing that---I had $$$ set aside for some Ranchos or the like but new wheel bearings and EBrake rust spent tha. I hate Buffalo winters!!!! I'm out of warranty so either I got some major suspension DIY or a new ST calling me.

Todd, actually there is a rip down the side of the one tie rod end boot whereas the other seems tight and sealed. I starting to think it's the ball joint but i'll lift her up today and see whats up. Rather fix a tie rod than a Ball joint obviously but i think the creaking is def coming from...

Been a while for a DIY weekend. 46000 miles on ST--- been hearing a creaking sound (rusty spring i guess) just when going over bumps, no real problems with steering but definitely hear it when going up and down on front driver side. The upper Ball joint in pic is actually not leaking Lube...

    ABS Repair update

For those that were wondering a couple weeks back....concerning the ABS going on at low speeds (under 5mph) with no dash light luminated but normal 5+ MPH the problem was traced to not only a bad sensor but also a bad LF wheel hub. I asked the tech knowing that the sensor is built in, he said...

    ABS sensor

Todd/Rich, thanks.... i did have the 4 rotors replaced a year ago--when i had them off to try and clean the sensor, they still looked ok, no grooves, scratches etc. I just sorta of figured with turningand the ABS going on it seems to be coming from the front though i could be wrong...it also...

    ABS sensor

ABS is kicking in when pulling into a parking spot (left turn only) and under extremely slow braking...before taking it in, I tried cleaning the front sensors with a soft brush/degreaser as suggested but still no luck...does anyone know if the onboard comp spits out a code to tell if one of the...

Any of you guys do any snow plowing with your ST?? My brother and I own a lawn business and would like to expand to snow plowing this winter on a limited basis (10 clients max) until we get 2 larger trucks to handle this. Would the ST hold up meaning have the ability to?? I see there are a few...

Hey guys and gals......going in tomorrow *sat* PM for my 3rd trip to the dealer for squealing brakes. Would have done the job myself but my ebrake was hung on the rear rotor but anyways. I have had new rotors and pads and from reading other previous posts, I've got the same problem. Is there...

Hey guys...wow long time....to cut to the chase i noticed grinding coming from the rear brakes of my '03 ST 4wd tonite and noticed thru the rim openings signs of worn out rotors also....I personally have replaced the front pads in the fall myself...so basically is the process the same for...
