    My Trac saved my life

The night before Thanksgiving, while driving a dark wet stretch of Tennessee highway, I came up on a slow moving vehicle pulling a trailer without any rear lights visible. With not more than a second to react I only had one way I could go to avoid him, left toward the median ditch. I made the...

    Center console vault or lock

Hi all, I have looked all over the internet and searched MySportTrac with no luck. I was hoping to get a pre-fabricated console safe/vault with lock to drop into my center console. I want to have somewhere to lock up my handgun when I need to. If anyone has an idea of how to install a...

Trans Fluid Change and EPC Adjustment

I am not sure what 1/4 mile gains in time I achieved, but I can sure tell how much faster it is off the line (The seat of my pants can tell a difference, Todd). Now it throws me back into the seat, compared to the slushy, slow, lumbering, when will it shift feeling I used to experience...

Post here is your steering wheel is peeling!

My grey one started peeling at 37.000 miles (of course, just out of warranty) and I have had a cover on it ever since. Rusty quoted me $170 for replacement, but since that will probably do the same thing I am going to stick with my cover for now.

    Steering Wheel

I know this is not the most available item out there, but I am looking for a grey, leather wrapped steering wheel with cruise control switches. My leather is worn through and one light burned out on my switches. I haven't been able to get a response from Rusty for the switch price. Any...

How to remove wax from grey bumper

Sorry it took me a while to respond. But, yes it works wonders. I wasn't adventurous enough to make a sandwich with it or wash it down with milk, but the haze was gone. It does sound wierd but it works wonders. Try it, what's the worst thing you are out of a teaspoon of PB?.

How to remove wax from grey bumper

The best way is to use peanut butter. Believe it or not it works great. Creamy is better than crunchy but both work. Just spread it over the white wax residue and rub it in for a minute. The oils in the peanut butter break down the wax residue and absorb it. Just be sure to wipe it off...

    Steering column "Collar" Removal

Problems with the multifunction switch (turn signal lever) are prevalent in Ford Products. Sometimes the connector is not seated properly under the shroud (column cover), but mostly it is a defective part. The best thing to do is replace it. Under warranty is obviously the best choice, but...
