Happened to me as well. 1 out of the 4 hardwire ports on the router stopped working. Wireless was okay. I bought a cheap network hub off of eBay to connect to one of the working ports in order to split off and have the number of ports I needed.

Not legal, but if the restore disc from the newer computer is the same brand as the older computer (e.g. new computer is a Dell and the older computer is a Dell), it will work. The restore discs look for the manufacturer in the BIOS, with no activation needed.

Those Fumoto valves are great. I have them in all my cars and truck. The "nipple" is the optional drain tube that can be used to redirect the oil flow when the valve is open. In the ST, the nipple isn't really needed because the oil pan is down in a great position to drain the oil already.
