First, I am up and running, but, took a little to figure it out.
I have four computers at home, all on line either wired director wireless.
Wife tells me none can connect to the net. Figure it must be the main line, router or cable modem.
However, I get home, plug n my laptop and it finds the signal just like normal. I right click on it to ensure it is my signal, not the neighbors.
So, mine works and none of the other four do.
Now, for mine to work the signal is going thru the cable modem, to a wired router, to a wireless router and then to me. So this tells me all parts are working.
Everything is plugged in.
Ended up being two bad ports on my wired router. I switch to the other ports as well as ran the third and forth wire from my wireless router and all is perfect. Just thought it was kind of weird to loose two of four ports.
Hmmm..
