Hi Folks, I'm considering upgrading the shocks soon on my '01 ST 2WD. I've seen some good comments on the Rancho RSX here on the board. After getting a few price quotes (shocks & installation) here locally, I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried the Rancho RS5000 shocks?

IMHO, the Honda Fit, Civic or Mazda 3 would be a better buy. Holds resale much better too.

I personally like the Ionic Breeze. I have had 6 Quadras in my house (one in every bedroom, plus the family and living rooms) for about 4 years. Keeps the air smelling fresh and seems to pull a lot of dust out of the air. I've even cleaned out some parakeet feathers (we have one parakeet) out...

You can remove the air vent (inside the truck, under the windshield, on top of the dash), peer down from the outside to view the code from the module. You do not have to remove the airbag.

Is this transmission problem pretty common? Have a lot of folks here had transmission problems? Should I be concerned? I have an '01 with 52K miles. Geez, and I thought only my Subaru WRX had a rep for tranny probs... :(
