the headphone jack IS the line out..... you could hook up an aux adapter. Just go to crutchfield.com and search for "BMW aux adapter" and see what comes up. or there's the fm modulator option... or the cassette adapter like caymen said...

I have NEVER even though about that. Humm...I just press the break pedal. I would think putting it in park, then in drive would cause more wear.... I'm sure automatic transmissions are designed with that in mind, maybe??

I think, and I'm not positive, but I think when I bought my 04 there was a manual 04 on the lot. I know it was new, and it was definitely a manual, but I'm not 100% positive it was an 04.... I thought for a second about getting it, but went the the xlt instead of the xls (which was that truck)

I just put rs5000's on a week and a half ago. LOVE THEM!! Shoulda put them on as soon as I got home from the dealership a year and a half ago....

mine started wearing out around 25,000 miles or so I guess. I didn't realize until I read on here that I could get it covered under warranty. Just didn't think about it. So they changed it out at 30,000 miles I think. It's been almost 4,000 miles since the new one, and it's looking brand new...

my dealership service manager tried the "well, normally wear and tear" blah blah... I just told them I understand wear and tear, but this peeling steering wheel was wearing out prematurely, and it should be replaced under warranty. They replaced it. I'm using the Armorall leather wipes like...

I know our trannys are problems...but is it just me or is there a wave recently of O/D lights flashing.... if mines gonna do it again, better be soon. Only have about 2,300 miles left on the warranty!! (but i've already had it and had an epc solenoid swapped out at 14,000)

I have xm and a delphi roady 2. I tried the fm modulator and found the quality to be horrible, or atleast not any better than the wireless transmission. I took the thing back. It may be better for you though, since it will be made by a different company, etc. I think the best way to go is to...
