Tires with 2000 miles starting to feather

I just looked at a "how to read tire wear" website, and it looks like the problem is slight cupping, not feathering. Are there any suspension components that I should look at? Shocks are reflex's and it's got good sway bar links. The tires doesn't feel loose at all.

Tires with 2000 miles starting to feather

Thanks for the advice everyone. I've kept the tires at factory recommended pressures, but I'll bump it up a bit. I've got reflex's all around, so the shocks shouldn't be an issue.

Tires with 2000 miles starting to feather

My Michelin LTX's have 2,000 miles on them, and I noticed the beginnings of very light feathering on the outside and inside edges of the fronts. I had the truck aligned when I bought the tires, and the rear tires aren't feathering at all. It's barely noticeable, but I'm keeping a close eye on...

Addco OR X-Spec "Rear Sway Bar" (Decision)

I've got the EE and love it. for some reason, i don't think the addco was available when I was looking to buy, but i doubt the difference would be that noticeable. either will be a huge improvement over stock.

    Alignment needed?

I just put 4 new tires on my trac, and I'm wondering if I should get it aligned. The old tires showed even wear (besides the rears having less tread overall due to not rotating and a heavy right foot no doubt). The truck goes nice and straight down the road, taking into account the road crown...

    headlight adjustment

yup that's it. if you don't have a 4mm socket you can take of the corner light and grab the shaft with some regular pliers from the side...that way you don't mangle the top, in case you end up getting a 4mm socket later.

just a guess, but a fuse or relay might be the chime issue. Hopefully someone else can jump in that knows more than I do.

Spy Shots: Ford Ranger mule caught testing in Dearborn

looks like it's got a mazda logo under there Aren't these usually just a bunch of random body pieces thrown on there at this point? It is ugly, but it'll most likely be much different. EDIT - guess I should have read a little more..."never mind the mazda looking front end" ha

What to do? 116k miles - all breaks lose Warning: rant : )

Hey, Home Depot in South Plainfield will make and program a transponder key for $65, way cheaper than any dealer or locksmith in the area. Also, I'd reccommend buying an additional ford transponder key blank, can be found for around 10$ on ebay. Get that cut (I guy a home depot guy to do...

    Tires

If you go to a club store (BJ's, Costco) and get the Michelin X Radial, it's the same as the LTX. Great tire.

Thanks, it's much appreciated. I'll probably be installing this same unit.

    Auxiliary Input in Adrenaline?

Thanks for the reply. Is all that extra wiring just for the FM modulator? Did you hook yours up to charge while plugged in? This looks like a good option...I was looking into a pioneer nav head unit but just can't buy it right now. Is the sound quality good? Are the wires you tapped...

    Auxiliary Input in Adrenaline?

Does anyone know if it's possible to rig an auxiliary input to the stock gen 1 adrenaline head unit? I think it's a great unit, this is the only thing I wish it had. Maybe using the XM inputs somehow?

10 Things Gas Stations Won't Tell You

Interesting read. I found it interesting when I moved to Jersey last year that there are many gas stations around me that still provide basic maintenance services (oil changes/alignments/wheel balancing/flat tire repairs/etc.), a big change from upstate NY where I hardly ever saw them.

    Lurch when shifting to/from Reverse

Many don't recommend a tranny flush, unless you've owned the car from the beginning and done a flush every 30k or so. From what I understand there is a lot of risk, and a lot of tranny shops won't even do it unless you sign a waiver.
