Water leak above the 07 rear window

I agree, it's most likely the 3rd brake light. As mentioned, double check the alignment of the "foam" gasket and press down on the housing slightly while threading the screws in. It may also be the rubber around the screws. Here's my response to an earlier post & Todd's comment . . ...

    lights in steering wheel

Dave, Fast Eddie's link should do it for you if you own a Gen 1. Your profile and library are empty, so I wasn't sure. If you own a Gen 2, they simply pry out from the front, disconnect the wire harnesses pull/unclip the assembly. From there you should have access to the lights.

    All In One Key Update!

My iKeyless "Slide" all-in-one key works just fine on my 2008 STA. The company originally sent me the wrong transponder chip. Thanks to LaRue's expertise and willingness to help, I was able to equip myself with the right info to provide iKeyless. With no hassle, they sent me the right one...

Thanks a million, just tried it and it worked for my '08

    anyone tried these things!!!???

Ha, we must have been watching the same episode. . . I think the air-trekkers and velocity stilts are the reputable brands and not the cheap Chinese-made ones. There's actually a pretty well known group that travels the nation doing tricks, etc. Search google for "Henry Holloway" and...

Check out my new STA toys!

Yeah, I thought about that, but I'm not very steady with my hands and I'd probably screw it up. . . Actually, thats kind of why I got 2. If you wouldn't mind, please keep us posted. The only recommendation ediecast had for me was to try and get something through a model/hobby shop.

Check out my new STA toys!

    Gen II Bed Mat

It is the OEM one from Ford, 6L2Z-99112A15-A The mat is still holding up great. I never take it out and it still looks and grips like brand new. I paid somewhere around $60 to $70 including shipping and sales tax. I found it in a clearance section of a genuine Ford parts site, but I...

    Bed lighting

I ran a toggle switch from the cab, removed the wheel wells, cut out holes in the bed liner and glued them in place . . . a PIA, but a near factory look. I took pleanty of pics and have been meaning to throw together a project, but haven't had the time. The only problem is, just like my...

Intresting way to store power cords

I never knew there was name for it, but thats how I've been storing my cords for years. I plug them end to end and stack them on the wall-hook, they never get tangled. What's nice is 50% of the time, I just use them at their compact length or I can pull out just as much as I need instead of...

    Oil Filter Suggestion

I know there are several threads regarding good/better/best oil & filters. Everyone has their own opinion and their own experience or expertise. I appreciate your responses. I ended up going with Motorcraft since I figured I couldn't go wrong with what the dealer would put in (especially...

    Oil Filter Suggestion

I'm about to hit 20K and it's time for another oil change. I was going to switch to full synthetic last time, but it slipped my mind at the time. This time around, I've got a case of Royal Purple in my truck, but I thought I'd ask you all for advise on which filter to go with. Should I...

    LCD vs. PLASMA Panel OPINIONS

As mentioned, the heat, the room lighting, the price difference, etc. should all be considered when making the decision. Believe it or not, Wikipedia offers some great comparison data. Visually speaking, the differences are: LCD = More vivid/brilliant colors Plasma = More realistic...

2010 STA Tire Vibrations Pirelli Scoripion STR

I had the same issue with my 08 STA. It started right after I had my first rotation done. . . . took it into the dealer and they determined that it was the rotors. . . They resurfaced them and I haven't had a single reoccurrence (about a year now). Personally, I'd take it up to the deal.
