2002ST sounded like shaking an empty Bud beer can full of rocks

Engine seems to misfire at 2K

We've done these things, and also a very skilled mechanic also analyzed it. The knock sensor is something new to me until recently when I put my Bluetooth module on our 2004 TAHOE to analyze a "Check Engine". It reported a problem with the knock sensor, which after I cleared it hasn't returned...

What causes the engine to lurch?

2002 ST Sometimes when I press the gas at about 2K it feels like I ran over something small. I feel these little bumps. Otherwise runs idles smoothly, accelerates smoothly, not throwing codes. New plugs and coil. Thanks
