Based on what I see from your library pic, you have the package that included 4.10 gear which means your ST came with 255/70-16 tires. The 235's won't hurt and might "feel" a little peppy.
After a quick Google search:
P0183 - Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit High Input
P0193 - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input
Since they are both fuel related, it's possible they are caused by the same problem. I don't see anything on the net as what caused it or how to fix it.
With todays engine designs and filter designs, motor oils can last a lot longer then in the past. With todays Economy, thats what I want, is more use out of my stuff.
Welcome
Just being curious, but why are you replaceing the O2 sensors? were they giving you a code?
also, a light tap around the O2 bung might help loosen the grip.
Justtake a drum off and measure the thickness of the pad. If it is less then 2mm, change them. I go by visual, if the pad is the same thickness as the metal it's glued to, then change them.
I bought a Belkin plug-in adaptor that holds my iPhone and sends the signal via radio frequency to my radio. It will charge my phone in the process. I think it was $70 at wally world.
When I got mine, I asked for 1 tune that would bump up the transmission pressure. The guy said he would make me a tune that was more aggressive but used 87octane. I mainly use the light program, with the bump in pressure, about 99% of the time. I average 18.5mpg with either tune versus...
Check the radiator(when its cool). Some people will look at the overflow tank and see there is "Green Stuff" in it, come to find out the radiator is half empty.
Based on the pic provided by swshawaii, check that elbow and then follow it to the back of the manifold and there will be another elbow to check as well. Check the entire line from throttle body to PCV. It's a cheap little elbow(s) to replace, once you get to them.
Cupping is not neccessarily a shock problem, I would check the alignment as well.
As for shocks, depends on your driving habits. Some like the ride stiff, some like the ride soft.
I went with Monroe Sensa-Trac when Sears had a free install promotion.
If you have a aftermarket TPMS, then you should be able to swap. You can not switch a System from one make of car to another make of car(ie, Nissan to Ford). Thats like using your house key to start your ST, it doesn't work, I drunkenly tried.
They should. That switch from the '98 Explorer should have worked as well, I think they were deffective. You could have used a multi-meter and checked them out.
