I have 138,000 miles on my '05 and it's time for the 3rd set of tires. I do more miles on the highway than anything else. I replaced the original set with Nexen's at 67.000 miles. What would be a good choice now? It's been a while since I have shopped for tires. BTW still getting 19.5 MPG...

Found a loose hose connection close to the spare tire, reset the light. Have to wait and see what happens. Thanks for the help Chris

I'm not sure where it is under the hood, anyone got a pic? Cleaned up the seal on the gas cap. Will the code clear on it's own or will I have to reset it. Thanks for the help Chris

Will it keep the compressor from engaging?

'05 ST 4X2, 54,000 miles. Noticed the other day that the AC was not working. I hear a click, but the RPMS do not change. Looked under the hood, the clutch doesn't engage. Any known issues with this model? Beyond the fuse, where else should I look? Thanks for any help. Chris

After 50,000 miles on the Wranglers, it's about time to pick out some replacements. Any suggestions? I do mostly interstate driving, and occasionally pull the boat. We have only 2 or 3 snow days a year here. Should I get another set of Wranglers, or is there something better? Thanks

48,000 miles on my '05 ST. When started runs rough, almost to the point of stalling. Once underway all things are normal. Is it time for a airflow sensor cleaning? Any ideas where to start? Thanks

I changed it on the '01, used the metal tool. Insert the tool, twist while pushing the hose on tighter, you'll feel it give, then move the tool and hose at the same time away from the filter till the tool stops. then pull hose off. Be ready for the splash of gas!

Fixed! Bad alternator, replaced under warranty. Good job University Ford in Durham NC. In and out in the same day, they even gave me a loaner to get to work.

Update: It comes on at 3200 RPM, at that time the headlights get slightly dimmer. Under 3200, all appears normal Thanks for all the help! Chris

I've got a battery light coming on at above 3000 rpm. Noticed today as I was bringing the boat home. Gage looked OK, right in the middle of the H and L marks. Any Ideas of what to look for prior to going to the dealership? 2005 Trac, 32,000 miles Chris
