UPDATE: I got it off. I put a rag around the spout, and poured boiling water to soak it,, Hoping to soften it. I think it did. But what really did it was the hose hook. I removed the spare tire and the inner fender . The inner fender didnt seem to help, as i couldnt do much above...

Yes this was my hold up.. Just didnt know to look under that thing. Its now fixed happy to say. New cruise buttons put on the steering wheel too.

I thought about this as an option. Yes i will be doing it from my back.. I can use my floor jack and a plank of ply wood. The tank is supposedly full. (thats what the gauge is reading). My concern is 160 lbs of tank, balanced on the floor jack while im trying to get some things...

i got the hose clamp off for the fuel tank , its loose, meaning i can twist it on the spout. But i have no leverage to get the hose off,, to pull it. But ill look at taking off the spare tire and see if i can get some leverage room. Thanks. and oh btw. My best friend from childhood...

Havent replaced fuel pump yet. Its on the list. IM looking at a Delphi, from rock auto. I DID find,,, Just the pump. Not the whole assembly. Its 100 bucks ,, vs the whole assembly at 150. Am i better off with just the pump or get the whole assembly?

i was looking to find fuses / relays,, I tried to pry that panel from under the steering column down. I didnt realize it was attached at the bottom. I got 2 screws out of it but it seems like its still attached. My problem is i cant get it back on doing what i did to pull it off...
