01 st waterpump repair

Does anyone have any idea how much the mechanics will charge me to change the waterpump on my 01 sport trac?

Any decent repair shop or Ford dealership will give you an estimate. Keep in mind that once into a repair like this on an older car, other problems like hoses, thermostat, radiator leaks often show up. If it were me, I'd be replacing hoses, clamps and that pesky thermostat along with the water pump. Spending a little more prospectively will pay off, IMO.

I was quoted 75 at my dealership. I changed out mine recently. You'd have to take off your belt, fan to give you acces. It would make it alot easier. I ended up taking my radiatior, shroud, fan, alternator ,intake, off so it seems longer to change
